U4GM POE 2 Guide to Craniums, Omens and 57+ Divines

POE 2 0.5.5 makes Abyss mapping more attractive when you stop treating Craniums as the only payout.

POE 2 0.5.5 makes Abyss mapping more attractive when you stop treating Craniums as the only payout. The Abyssal Everything farm combines Abyssal Troves, Omens of Light, Abyssal Echoes, Ancient Bones, Invitations, and other tradeable drops into one mapping loop, so your income does not depend on a single lucky chest. You still need to cover map and Tablet costs with POE 2 Currency, but the setup can reward both chest-focused and monster-focused investment.

How profitable is the Abyssal Everything farm in POE 2

A 35-map test produced 10 Omens of Light, 21 Abyssal Echoes, 6 Craniums, 4 Ancient Ribs, 4 Jawbones, and 5 Kulocks Invitations. The main Abyss rewards were valued at about 233 Divines, while maps and Tablets cost roughly 33 Divines. That left around 200 Divines before counting every raw Divine Orb, Chaos Orb, preserved bone, and miscellaneous drop.

At close to 10 maps per hour, the reported result came to more than 57 Divines per hour. Treat that figure as a test result, not a promise. Cranium prices moved between roughly 13 Divines during the test and around 18 to 20 Divines at earlier points, so market timing has a major effect on the final return. Clear speed, map quality, key supply, and luck also change the result from one session to the next.

How do Abyssal Troves give you Craniums

Preserved Craniums come from Abyssal Troves, which makes Trove density the main concern for this strategy. More Abyssal Pits only help when they lead to rewarding encounters, so your setup should favor modifiers that create more valuable Abyss rewards rather than focusing only on monster packs.

Item Rarity on Waystones and Tablets is especially useful for the Trove side of the farm. The tested approach places more value on map and Tablet Item Rarity than character Item Rarity for these chest rewards. That distinction matters because spending currency on the wrong source of rarity can make the farm look stronger on paper without improving the drops you actually want.

How should you balance Item Rarity and Monster Rarity

Item Rarity and Monster Rarity support different parts of the loop. Item Rarity is tied to the Abyssal Trove plan, while Monster Rarity supports the rare-monster side and gives you more chances to find Omens of Light. A Cranium-focused setup should lean toward Item Rarity, while an Omen-focused setup should give more attention to Monster Rarity.

The balanced version is the reason this approach works as an Everything farm. You are not forced to choose between chest rewards and rare monsters every time you prepare a map. A fast-clearing character can keep the full setup moving while still stopping for valuable Abyss encounters.

What Waystones and Tablets should you use

The lower-cost option uses Tier 15 maps with modifiers that improve the strength and quantity of your Abyss setup. This is easier to sustain and gives you a practical starting point before committing more of your resources. The higher-investment option uses corrupted Tier 15 or Tier 16 maps, with the tested target sitting around 60% or more Monster Rarity and at least 40% Item Rarity.

For Tablets, two should prioritize the modifier that makes Abyss Pits twice as likely to contain rewards. Another useful modifier increases the chance of receiving Desecrated Currency from Abysses. Two-mod Tablets are enough to begin the rotation; expensive three- or four-mod versions are not required for the strategy to function. City maps can also take a Delirium Tablet when your build can handle the extra pressure and you want additional Splinters or chances at Grand Mirrors.

Why Cryptic Keys matter for Abyssal Troves

Use a Cryptic Key on every valuable Abyssal Trove. The key lets the chest be opened twice, and Troves are the main source of Craniums and other Abyssal Bones. That makes key supply part of the farm's basic economy rather than a minor bonus.

Your Atlas choices should help maintain those keys. Trove Seekers increases rare chest opportunities, while another effect can allow Unique Monsters to generate Cryptic Keys. The exact value depends on your route and map speed, but running out of keys removes much of the reason to target high-value Troves in the first place.

Final Thoughts

Start with affordable Tier 15 maps, build around rewarding Abyss Pits, and add Item Rarity when Craniums are your main target. Increase Monster Rarity when Omens of Light matter more, then use Cryptic Keys on the Troves that can justify a second opening. Keep your costs visible before a long session, because the 57-plus Divine hourly result came from one 35-map test and can shift with prices and RNG. Finally, sell the full spread of Bones, Omens, Invitations, currency, and other Path of Exile 2 Items instead of judging the farm by Craniums alone.
